I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room I stayed in at the backside had an awesome view of the street and part of the city below, but it was tiny and not like the photos. It was basic with a small shower room, which met our needs for the stay.

I had to sit on the floor at the backside of the hotel with an awesome view of the street and part of the city below. The room had double beds, but it was basic and small for a twin bed private room. The service was friendly and accommodating, but there were some issues with lack of amenities like ice stands, water, a fridge, and air conditioning. The location was somewhat close to Pershing Square Metro Station and everything in Downtown LA, but the area had safety concerns at night. The dining options were limited to drinks, cereals, and waffles. The facilities were satisfactory but lacked certain conveniences.

The hotel is in a central location in Downtown LA, although it may not be safe at night; however, it's great for walking to most activities. The staff was friendly and helpful with a cool air atmosphere during a heatwave, but the maid service seemed unprofessional. Despite being tiny and not exactly as depicted in photos, given how affordable it is, I have nothing to complain about.
