Cecil Hotel, Los Angeles

I had to sit on the floor at the backside of the hotel with an awesome view of the street and part of the city below. The room had double beds, but it was basic and small for a twin bed private room. The service was friendly and accommodating, but there were some issues with lack of amenities like ice stands, water, a fridge, and air conditioning. The location was somewhat close to Pershing Square Metro Station and everything in Downtown LA, but the area had safety concerns at night. The dining options were limited to drinks, cereals, and waffles. The facilities were satisfactory but lacked certain conveniences.
